Different Types Of Anatomical Bridles.

Anatomical bridles are made especially for the comfort of the horse. They're designed to be especially comfortable and relive pressure off sensitive parts of the horses face.

The Micklem Bridle

This bridle is a very popular choice, it takes into account the shape of the horses face, importantly missing out on the pressure points on a horses face, which a basic bridle may sit on. The micklem is also a very adjustable bridle, to ensure the best, and most comfortable fit for your horse. The bridle uses even pressure over the horses face. The noseband sitting slightly higher up the face, avoiding the thin cartilage on the end of the horses nose, providing extra comfort and less risk for your horse. These bridles are generally brought for around £110-£130.

These bridles, too, are made for complete comfort, reliving pressure off sensitive points of the horses face. Not only is the leather soft, and almost squishy, the leather is wide. This created even pressure on the horses face, instead of having one thin strap, you've got flat side parts, made for extra comfort. These bridles generally start at around £220 and can get more expensive or possibly cheaper, depending on bridle style.
